Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling body to be a small robot having basically a simple structure and capable of performing an autonomous, orgnismic and interesting action. SOLUTION: The self-traveling body is provided with at least one wheel, a motor for driving the wheel and a power supply capable of injecting energy from the external during the traveling of the self-traveling body as a power source of the motor and the motor is driven by an output from an oscillation circuit. As concrete constitution, the motor is a step motor and is allowed to optionally adopt a constitution for driving the wheel through a reduction gear string, a constitution allowing the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit to approach the step-out frequency of the step motor, a constitution for drving plural wheels by individual step motors, a constitution utilizing a clock mechanism, a constitution using a solar battery for the power supply, and so on. |
