Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method therefor permitting to reducing mis-alignment and also secure an opening ratio. SOLUTION: An insulating substrate is provided thereon with a net form black matrix having an opening part corresponding to the pixels of an image display part, red-, green-, and blue color filters, an insulating film, gate wiring, a semiconductor layer, and a resistive contact layer; on a gate insulating film, data lines crossing gate lines and defining the pixels, source electrodes connected with the gate lines, and data wiring including drain electrodes separated from the source electrodes and faced to the source electrodes centering the gate electrodes are formed; on the data wiring, a protective film having contact holes for exposing the drain electrodes are formed; and pixel electrodes connected with the drain electrodes through the contact holes are formed.
