Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it takes labor and time for the set-up in a conventional test apparatus which selectively uses many kinds of base plates different in position of a locating pin since the position of locating holes is slightly different according to the kind of a transmission. SOLUTION: The transmission test apparatus comprises a positioning support device 2, a fitting head 3 and a rotation device 4, the support device 2 comprises an angle adjusting means to turn the transmission A around an input shaft, and the fitting head 3 comprises a plurality of pin fitting parts to attach/detach the locating pin 18. The position of the locating pin 18 in the fitting head 3 is selected according to the position of the locating hole D of a housing B, the locating hole is aligned with the locating pin without using many kinds of base plates by turning the transmission A, and the labor and time of the set-up are saved.
