Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe device capable of completely preventing mixing of a medicine with a solution prior to use, easily assuring a highly sterilized condition, being easy to manufacture, and having high productivity, and a method of manufacture. SOLUTION: The syringe device 1 has a syringe 10 containing a first component 8 and fitted with a hollow mixing needle 13, and a container 20 containing a second component 21 for mixing with the first component 8 and closed by a plug 23 made of an elastic body. The syringe device includes a flexible protective cover 16 for hermetically covering the hollow mixing needle 13, a recess 27 disposed in the upper surface of the plug 23, and a connector 30 for connecting the syringe 10 to the container 20 while the recess 27 and the protective cover 16 hermetically abut each other, with the recess 27 opposed to the end of the hollow mixing needle 13.
