Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic member capable of improving the adhesive strength to the teeth, reducing the manufacturing cost and preventing the nickel allergy if a material without nickel is used. SOLUTION: The orthodontic member, i.e., a bracket 10, has a main body 12 and a bonding base 13. The bonding base 13 is formed with plate members 21 and 22 having a large number of through holes 24. The stretching process is applied to the bonding base 13 by stretching at least one metal plate with a large number of slits in the separating directions opposite from each other along the plane direction to make the rims of the openings of the through holes 24 project from the front and rear of the metal plate. |
