Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a semiconductor boosting circuit which is strong against a change in a load. SOLUTION: A first charge pumping circuit 5 which is connected to an output line Vo and an output line Io at any stage is provided. A second multistage charge pumping circuit 4 which is connected to the first charge pumping circuit 5 at every stage and which is not connected to the output lines at any stage is provided. When the charge pumping circuits are formed in a plurality of rows so as to be divided into a circuit for control and a circuit for drive, a change in an output load does not influence a control state. The capacitance of kick capacitors Ck in the charge pumping circuit 5 is made larger than the capacitance of kick capacitors Ca in the charge pumping circuit 4, and the driving capability of the semiconductor boosting circuit is enhanced.
