Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can air condition an elongated work area efficiently and definitely. SOLUTION: Three air outlets 8a, 8b, 8c branched from a duct 4 installed above a passage 6 are disposed closely each other in the vertical direction while being directed toward an elongated work area 7 and conditioned air is delivered horizontally at different wind velocity from the air outlets 8a, 8b, 8c. Conditioned air delivered at high velocity flows downward at a remote place of the work area 7 which is thereby distributed with conditioned air from the air outlets 8a, 8b, 8c thus air conditioning the elongated work area 7 efficiently.
