PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which detects and totalizes the movement histories of mobile objects such as the persons and carts in a prescribed area and also can grasp each movement history and time of many mobile objects. SOLUTION: This system comprises a recorder which is carried by or mounted on the mobile object, plural location markers which are placed on each prescribed spot in a movement survey area and a data processor. Every location marker has a location ID transmitter means which specifies its relevant spot, and the recorder has a location ID signal receiver means and a memory means which records in sequence the location ID signals received by the location ID receiver means. The data processor has a data receiver means which reads the location ID signal data recorded by the memory means, a data storage means which stores the data received by the data receiver means and a processor means analyzed and totalizes the movement history of mobile object having the recorder according to the data stored in a data storage means.
