Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a problem that a conventional heat insulating material having a metallic deposition layer is not capable of holding vacuum under a high temperature in the vicinity of 100 deg.C and heat insulating property is lowered. SOLUTION: A vacuum heat insulating material which is not deteriorated for a long period and has high heat insulating performance is made by constituting a gas barrier layer 5 having a gas barrier property by metal which has ductility and heat conductivity of 100 W/m.K or below at 300 K.
