Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin for polyethylene hollow molding capable of obtaining a monolayer or multilayer structure polyethylene hollow molding such as soft bottle, etc., excellent in falling impact resistance and appearance without rough surface, and polyethylene hollow molding having a layer therewith and suitable for food container for such as mayonnaise etc. SOLUTION: This resin for polyethylene hollow molding has a density of 0.930 g/cm3, and a critical viscosity measured in 135 deg.C decalin of 1.6 dl/g or more, and comprises a linear low density polyethylene having a mol. wt. distribution (Mw/Mn) measured by GPC of not smaller then 4. This linear low density polyethylene can be obtained by two-stage polymerization of ethylene and a 3-20C α-olefin, in the presence of, e.g. an olefin polymerization catalyst. This polyethylene hollow molding has a layer comprising the resin for polyethylene hollow molding.
