Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet instrument, with which an indoor space can be utilized effectively by reducing the quantity of a projection from an external facing member for a wall, a floor or the like, while the execution of works in the case of a reform can be conducted simply. SOLUTION: In the faucet instrument, in which the end section of a feed pipe 39 arranged on the rear side of an external facing member 37 is exposed to the surface side of the external facing member 37 and a faucet body 2 with a discharge opening 7 which discharges water from the feed pipe 39 to the outside and a handle 12 for adjusting the quantity of water discharged from the discharge opening 7 is connected from the surface side of the external facing member 37, at least a part of the faucet body 2 is housed on the rear side of the external facing member 37, from a notched window 37b formed to the external facing member 37.
