Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw a buried pipe into an insertion trace of a propelling shaft member. SOLUTION: The pipe burying method is comprised of the steps of inserting a propelling shaft member 3 into the ground over a distance between a starting portion A and an arrival portion B, connecting a buried pipe 1 to an arrival side end of the propelling shaft member 3, drawing back the propelling shaft member to the starting portion, and drawing the buried pipe into an insertion trace of the propelling shaft. A sheath pipe 2 into which the buried pipe can be inserted, and the buried pipe inserted into the sheath pipe are connected to the arrival side end of the propelling shaft member, and the propelling shaft member is drawn back to the starting portion, whereby the sheath pipe and the buried pipe are drawn to an intermediate portion of the insertion trace. Thereafter, the connection between the sheath pipe and the propelling shaft member is canceled, and the propelling shaft member is further drawn back to the starting portion, followed by drawing the buried pipe connected to the propelling shaft member through the sheath pipe drawn into the insertion trace, to the insertion trace at a location on one side of the sheath pipe closer to the starting portion. |
