Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a improved method and an apparatus for acquiring a perfusion MR image. SOLUTION: When acquiring MR data, the volume of a slice position of one group requiring to acquire the MR data is selected. Respective given slices are prepared by notched RF saturation pulse having a stopping belt between a pair of passing belts. The stopping belt is designed so as not to exert influence on a spin of the next slice requiring to acquire the MR data. Thus, TI is effectively increased, and SNR ad contrast are simultaneously increased. Since the notched saturation pulse with a cut line saturates the whole spins positioned outside the stopping belt of a cut line, blood in the ventricle is effectively saturated so that an acquired perfusion image restrains a blood pool. Besides, insensibility of a high level to influence of the other change in an irregular pulse or the heart rate of a patient is obtained by using a presaturation RF pulse of 90 deg..
