Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio image monitoring system which performs image monitoring and monitoring control of facilities at a plurality of places by radio relay. SOLUTION: This system consists of a radio transmission terminal 1, n pieces of radio repeaters 3, a wire repeater 2, an image communication controller 4 via a wire communication network 9 and a central monitoring device 10. In Figure 1, an image signal from a camera 5, a sound signal from a microphone 11, a measured signal from sensor 7 accompanying electric equipment 80 are inputted, and the terminal 1 performs data transmission to a radio repeater 3-1 from an antenna 8 by radio. Next, the repeater 3-1 performs radio relay transmission of a single frequency up to an n-th radio repeater 3-n in a time division method. The single frequency is further subjected to radio relay to the repeater 2 to be converted into data in a wire format. The data transmission of image, sound, measured and control signals is performed to the controller at a remote place via the network 9, and the device 10 displays the image signal.
