PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably coil an extra thin strip at high speed in a hot rolling line arranged with a carrousel coiling machine. SOLUTION: In the strip coiling equipment provided with a carrousel coiling machine in which by rotating a rotary frame 3 mounting two mandrels 1, 2 apart in the peripheral direction, the two mandrels 1, 2 are switched to a coiling start position and a coiling completion position respectively, and with a pair of upper/lower pinch rolls 17 arranged at the inlet side of the carrousel coiling machine, by offsetting an upper pinch roll 17b and a lower pinch roll 17a of a pair of the upper/lower pinch rolls 17, a running line P2 of the strip from a pair of the upper/lower pinch rolls 17 up to the mandrel at the coiling start position is inclined at a prescribed angle θ against a running line of the strip S of the upstream side of a pair of the upper/lower pinch rolls 17, the mandrel 1 for coiling start is arranged on the running line P2 of the strip S of the downstream side.
