Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always keep a lubricated state of a planetary gear device while improving durability and a service life, and attain stable valve timing control. SOLUTION: The planetary gear device 7 arranged between a driving sprocket 1 and a camshaft 2 is composed of an input gear member 8 arranged on the camshaft 2 on an outer peripheral side of a stepped bearing 2A, an output gear member 9, a carrier 11, a planetary shaft 12 and planetary gears 13, 14. A spring clutch 17 is wound across a drum part of the input gear member 8, a ring drum 3 and a drum part 11E of the carrier 11. A phase is kept, retarded and advanced by fastening and releasing the spring clutch 17. Lubricating oil is supplied from an introduction passage 4 of the camshaft 2 to gears of the planetary gear device 7, keeping a lubricated state of sliding parts. |
