Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption material for oily substances which efficiently recovers oily substances floating on a stream surface and increases the adsorption and the oil-adsorption retentivity. SOLUTION: From 5 to 20 (total weight of about from 30 to 900 g) fibers or ribbon-like materials having a length of from 1 to 100 m are bundled to produce a fiber bundle or a ribbon-like material. Then, from 50 to 100 fiber bundles or ribbon-like materials are bound together on a cage-shaped rope at an interval of from about 5 to about 10 cm. |
