Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically paste other object video image onto a specific area on an object video image that is moved or modified. SOLUTION: An object video image selection section 6 selects an object video image 100 being an object of paste from the video source 2. An overlapped area detection section 18 detects a material object paste area on the object video image 100 by using shape information 8 of the object video image 100. A material object modification section 26 selects the material object video image 10 on the basis of the size of the paste area. The material object video image 10 selected by a material object paste section 30 is pasted to the object video image 100 to obtain a processed object video image 32, a video synthesis section 34 synthesizes the object video image 32 with other object video image 102 and a monitor 14 displays the synthesized video image.
