Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored illuminating apparatus comprising a lamp with a coating layer containing organic color pigment, also having an optimum chromaticity and longer term of tolerance under a stringent circumambient temperature. SOLUTION: A colored illuminating apparatus according to the present invention comprises a lamp and an illuminating cover, wherein the lamp has a precinct with the first coating layer containing pigment and the pigment is selected from the group consisting of perylen pigment, perylone, isoindrin pigment and thioindigo pigment. The colored illuminating apparatus of the invention shows a longer term of tolerance, is not damaged by ultraviolet and salt being dispersed at moisture temperature, and has a higher durability at a temperature of from 250 deg.C to 350 deg.C. The coating layer of the precinct comprising the above pigment alone or in combination with different pigment for a color calibration is adjusted in accordance with the color standard for the illuminating apparatus of automobiles.
