Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet supplying device capable of supplying pellet onto a rotary furnace hearth uniformly in the cross direction of the hearth while avoiding the stickiness and the jamming with a simple structure in a reduction furnace or a drier of a direct-reduced iron producing apparatus. SOLUTION: In a device for supplying green ball GB granulated with a pelletizer 43 onto the furnace hearth 50 of the rotary hearth type reduction furnace 30 or the drier 44, a dispersion plate 1 which can uniformly disperse the green ball GB in the cross direction of the furnace hearth as a front step chute part in multi-step chutes equipped in the device, is arranged so that the green ball GB is supplied onto the furnace hearth 50 without staying on the dispersion plate 1 and the other reflecting plate 2 and lower guide plate 3 constituting the multi-step chutes.
