Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the step of forming an electron beam reflection film which can suppress doming of a color selection electrode for a cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: A cathode-ray tube comprises a panel member 11 which has a fluorescent face 14, a neck member 12 which stores an electron gun 19, an enclosure having a funnel member 13 which connects the neck member 12 with the panel member 11, a color selection electrode 15 which is placed close to the fluorescent plane 14 inside the enclosure, a mask frame 16 which holds the color selection electrode 15, and a getter structural body GA which forms a getter film inside the enclosure. A structural body 20 for forming a reflection film which includes an evaporation source for forming an electron beam reflection film 15a on a surface 15b of the color selection electrode 15 is assembled inside the enclosure in advance. The evaporation source is evaporated by heating from outside after vacuum evacuation.
