Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude control device for a vehicle capable of stabilizing the attitude of the vehicle to improve controllability and riding comfort by suppressing roll, pitch and bounce during travel, with little energy consumption. SOLUTION: On the basis of the information from sensors for detecting the state of a vehicle, an actuator 6 disposed between an unsprung member 20 and a sprung member 22 of a wheel is put in action to control the attitude of the vehicle. The actuator 6 is provided with a first coil spring 24 and a displacement generating device 26. The displacement generating device 26 is provided with a feeding external thread shaft 38; a vertically moving nut 40 thread-fastened to the feeding external thread shaft 38; a fixed disc 42a fixed to the outer periphery of the vertically moving nut 40; a spring connecting member 44 connected to the inside of a spring intermediate engaging point 24a; a second coils spring 46 engaged at its upper end with the lower part of the fixed disc 42a and engaged at its lower end with the upper part of the spring connecting member 44; an electric motor 48 on the sprung member 22; and a driving force converter 50 for transmitting the rotatory-driving force of the electric motor 48 to the feeding external thread shaft 38. |
