Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the cost and to improve the appearance of the molding by improving the body upper part formability, to secure the water-tightness of an operation display part, and to improve the safety in a washing machine having an operation display part provided with a built-in electric part such as a control unit. SOLUTION: The front part of a body upper part 27 forming an upper framework of a washing machine main body 28 is integrally provided with an operation display part 31 provided with a built-in electric part such as a control unit 30, and this operation display part 31 is provided with an operation recessed part 39 having a through hole 38 at a position corresponding to a switch 37 of the control unit 30 or the like. An operation panel 40 having a boss 41 corresponding to the switch 37 through the through hole 38 in a back surface side thereof and provided with a button 42 to be displaced by the pushing force from a surface side thereof is fitted in the operation recessed part 39, and the operation display part 31 is provided with an operation display sheet 43 for covering the operation panel 40.
