Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently maintain the dimensional accuracy of a thrust plate press-fitted to a shaft by press-fitting the thrust plate for supporting load in a thrust direction, into a sleeve fitted with a shaft, and supporting load in the radial direction of a dynamic bearing, and forming annular grooves on both faces of the thrust plate. SOLUTION: A thrust cover 7a is fitted and fixed to a bottom part of a sleeve 6a inserting a shaft 5a with dynamic pressure generating grooves 8b... formed on the peripheral surface, and a thrust plate 4a opposed to the thrust cover 7a is fixed to the shaft 5a by press-fitting. The thrust plate 4a has dynamic pressure generating grooves 8a formed on both faces, but in this case, an annular groove 1 is formed at a small portion on the radial inside of the dynamic pressure generating grooves 8a... With the annular groove 1 thus formed, the dimensional accuracy of the thrust plate 4a can be maintained even after the thrust plate 4a is press-fitted to the shaft 5a, and the assembly accuracy of the thrust plate 4a and shaft 5a can be improved.
