Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To direct the two or more kinds of different beautiful appearances, to enlarge the uses of one necklace and to increase a using frequency by changing the engaging method of the fastener of the necklace. SOLUTION: This necklace is provided with a male fastener 2 on one end and a female fastener 6 to be engaged with the male fastener 2 on the other end. The male fastener 2 is provided with a base part 3 connected to a chain 1 and the female fastener 6 is a container composed of a container body 7 and an openably and closably connected lid 8. The container body 7 is connected to the chain 1 and provided with a latch part 9 on a peripheral part, the lid 8 is provided with the latch part 9 to be engaged with the container body 7, a connection notch 10 for fitting the base part of the female fastener 6 is provided on the peripheral part of one or both of the container body 7 and the lid 8 and a space for housing the female fastener 6 is provided in the state of engaging the container body 7 and the lid 8. Also, decorative working in executed to the male fastener 2 and at least two kinds of the engaging methods of the male fastener 2 and the female fastener 6 are made to present.
