Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake hydraulic pressure source device including a pump to selectively supply hydraulic fluid from a master cylinder and that from a reservoir to the pump. SOLUTION: A master cylinder 14 through a first hydraulic fluid supply passage 100, and a master reservoir 106 through a second hydraulic fluid supply passage 110 are connected to a pump 44. The first hydraulic fluid supply passage 100 is provided with a master influx control valve 102, and the second hydraulic fluid supply passage 110 is provided with a reservoir influx control valve 112. When the reservoir influx control valve 112 is closed, and the master influx valve 102 is open, the pump 44 draws hydraulic fluid from the master cylinder 14 as in a first state. When the master influx control valve 102 is closed and the reservoir influx control valve 112 is open, the pump 44 draws the hydraulic fluid from the master reservoir 106 as in a second state.
