Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance liquid crystal display device decreased in size and also increased in reliability. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 17, a liquid crystal 4 is made to lie between a glass substrate 2 and a glass substrate 3, and the liquid crystal 4 is enclosed with a sealant member 5, to form a display area 6, and transparent electrodes 8 in a display area 6 are extended up to non-display area 9a of the substrate 3, and in the liquid crystal panel P1 of such a construction, a reflecting member 18 and a circuit substrate 19 are arranged on the glass substrate 2, and driving IC 20s are arranged on the circuit substrate 19.
