Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an underground radar apparatus which is constituted simply and at low costs by reducing an interference inside a channel and an interference between channels and which can detect a nearby region and to obtain an underground excavator which is provided with the underground radar apparatus. SOLUTION: This underground radar apparatus is provided with transmitting- receiving antennas AT1 to AT4, in even numbers, which are arranged in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical body such as a structure body P for an underground excavator by a nonexcavation drilling method of construction. The underground radar apparatus is provided with a transmission part which supplies a transmission signal in such a way that the transmission signal supplied to the adjacent transmitting-receiving antennas AT1 to AT4 simultaneously keeps a relationship of opposite polarities. The underground radar apparatus is provided with a reception part which adds reception signals from the respective transmitting-receiving antennas and which extracts reflected waves from the added reception signals.
