Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of a solid electrolytic capacitor by comprising at least one kind of compound selected out of aniline, water, phosfon acid and its derivative, phosphin acid and its derivative, and phosphoric ester and phosphoric diester as well as a water-soluble organic solvent in which aniline is dissolved. SOLUTION: An aniline which is a (A) component of an electrolyte formation composition of a solid electrolytic capacitor forms polyaniline through oxidation- polymerization under the action of oxidizer. The polyaniline is added with an acid generated through decomposition of oxidizer, phosfon acid which is (C) component as well as its derivative, phosphin acid and its derivative, phosphoric ester or phosphoric diester, to be conductive for functioning as the electrolyte of a solid electrolytic capacitor. The water of (B) component must not comprise an ionic impurity or organic. A water-soluble organic solvent (D) where an aniline is dissolved must mix with water at an arbitrary ratio.
