Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the manufacturing method of an LED which increases the luminance of the LED by first improving the convergence of emitted light having been converted, when the wavelength of the light emitting chip is converted by incorporating a wavelength-converting material in the resin of the LED and also eliminates color mixture, even when LEDs differing in wavelength are arranged close to each other at the use of a fluorescent material. SOLUTION: A light emitting diode is constituted by sealing with resin the whole light emitting element, having its light emission chip 1 mounted on the bottom part of a cup. The resin is formed of a 1st resin 11 filling the cup 3 and 2nd resin 12 covering the 1st resin 11. The 1st resin 11 contains a filter substance which absorbs part of the light emission wavelength of the light emission chip 1, and the filter substance is not contained in the 2nd resin 12. |
