Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sheet deformed so as to smoothly conform to an underground shape when embedded in the ground for the purpose of reinforcement, for example, in order to prevent the outflow of earth and sand from the shore protection of the seashore to be prevented from the generation of large stress in the respective regions thereof so as not to be easily damaged, and to enable the easy molding of the element of a compact filter having a large filtering area. SOLUTION: A composite sheet consists of a mesh-like substrate sheet 2 formed by using highly shrunk yarns as a raw material and shrunk by heating or pouring water, and a main sheet 3 formed by using a nonwoven fabric as a raw material and fixed to the substrate sheet 2 and compressed and deformed accompanied by the shrinkage of the substrate sheet 2.
