Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition which is excellent in resistances to chemicals, staining, and weathering, etc., by dissolving a vinylidene fluoride (co)polymer in a liquid mixture comprising specified amounts of a solvent liquid and a nonsolvent liquid which does not substantially dissolve and/or degrade a coated surface. SOLUTION: The liquid mixture comprises 100 pts.wt. liquid (A) which is a solvent for a vinylidene fluoride (co)polymer and 5-500 pts.wt. liquid (B) which is a nonsolvent for a vinylidene fluoride (co)polymer and does not substantially dissolve and/or degrade the coated surface of a resin molding. Alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, etc., are listed as component B, alcohols, especially isopropyl alcohol, being suitable. If necessary, a resin component other than a vinylidene fluoride (co)polymer is compounded, a (meth)acrylic ester (co)polymer being especially suitable. |
