PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking guide device which makes it possible to smoothly make a desired dish without referring a cooking book, even when a method for making the dish is not understood. SOLUTION: This cooking guide device comprises a memory 1 for memorizing cooking information necessary for making dishes, a speaker 2 for the speech output of the cooking information memorized in the memory, a microphone 3a for inputting speech commands, a speech recognition member 3 for recognizing the speech commands inputted through the microphone, and a controller 4 for selecting information corresponding to the command inputted with the speech recognition member 3 from the cooking information and then outputting the selected information to the speaker. Cooking time-announcing information for announcing a cooking time is also memorized in the memory 1.
