Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load on a CPU by facilitating the arithmetic operation for judging the presence of an object of three-dimensional expression controlled by the CPU itself from the two-dimensional coordinates of screen coordinates. SOLUTION: When a comparator 813 detects the coincidence of the contents of the address of picture data from a DSP core 810 and the screen coordinate position of an object to be detected, which is set to a register 812, a strobe signal is outputted. Based on the output of the strobe signal, a register 814 stores the picture data from the core 810. A CPU 11 confirms the content of picture data stored in the register 814 in the address of the two-dimensional coordinate position of the object to be detected and executes score processing, etc., in accordance with the contents the program of a shooting game, etc., by the content. Since the two-dimensional coordinates generated by the core 810 of a DSP 81 is utilized, re-calculation of the two-dimensional coordinates by the CPU 11 is unnecessitated to reduce the burden on the CPU 11.
