PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out an examination by providing a measurement principal analysis unit designating means used by request of an item measurable by a plurality of analysis units when a user requests an item for each specimen from an operation-control unit. SOLUTION: A user designates a measurement item for each specimen through a measurement item selection screen 201 by means of an item button 202. When an item registered in both of an immunoassay unit and a biochemical analysis unit is selected among the respective measurement items, for example, when thyroxine T4 (one kind of thyroid hormone) is selected, a measurement method selection screen 203 appears, and then, the user selects which method is used for measurement. A specimen rack, in which a requested specimen cup is set, passes through a specimen conveying line so as to move to a specimen sampling position in the immunoassay unit and stops for sampling of the specimen necessary for measurement of GOT and HCG(human chorionic gonadotropin). After respective items are measured on the specimen dispensed in the immunoassay unit and the biochemical analysis unit, the measurement results are outputted to a data output unit.
