Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry and heat refractory material formed oblong like a trough uniformly with a heat pattern corresponding to the characteristic of the refractory material. SOLUTION: Piping is arranged for feeding fuel gas to the inner cylinder 2 and combustion air to the outer cylinder 4 of a header 1 consisting of the triple cylinder of the inner cylinder 2, a middle cylinder 3 and the outer cylinder 4. The blowout nozzles 2a of the fuel gas are arranged on the inner cylinder 2 at predetermined intervals in the direction of the length, the blowout nozzles 6 of the fuel gas are arranged on the middle cylinder 3 at the predetermined intervals in the direction of the length, and the blowout nozzles 7 of the combustion air are arranged covering over the blowout nozzles 6 at the positions of the blowout nozzles 6 and a slit nozzle 11 having the same length with the header 1 is arranged surrounding these blowout nozzles 6 and 7 on the outer cylinder. A swirl vane is arranged between each of the blowout nozzles 6 and the blowout nozzles 7. With this, the refractory material including moisture formed oblong as the trough can be dried and heated without spalling or rupture.
