Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy recording medium housing device having no inconvenience even leaving a recording medium discharged and lowered as it is. SOLUTION: The rear end parts 54a of a pair of front side arms 54 are turnably fixed respectively to two rotation center shafts 52 fixed to the Lower parts of a pair of stands 40 respectively in the lower part of a paper delivery port. The arms 54 are the front sides of a plotter 10 and extending in a direction nearly orthogonal to the shafts 52. A front side beam 56 extending in an arrow B direction is arranged between the tip parts 54b of the arms 54. Both the end parts of the beam 56 are fixed to the tip parts 54b of the arms 54 respectively. One end part (one side) of a sheetlike member 58 such as a rectangular cloth is fixed to the beam 56.
