Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measuring apparatus wherein a scattered light detector can receive scattered light not receiveing the effect of noise. SOLUTION: An optical measuring apparatus measures transmitted light and scattered light generated when the liquid sample put in a capillary tube 1 wherein the optical axis 3' of measuring light is set to the direction substantially vertical to the axis 1' of the capillary tube 1 is irradiated with light. A first detector 4 for catching transmitted light is arranged to the region of the optical axis 3' of measuring light and a second detector 5 for catching scattered light is arranged so as to be separated from the first detector 4 by an interval (a) in the direction of the axis 1' of the capillary tube. The first and second detectors 4, 5 are positioned on the different sides of a surface ( ) including the axis 1' of the capillary tube 1 and vertical to the optical axis 3' of measuring light.
