Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive a staple into a thick and hard material having a curved surface even using a conventional cheep driving device. SOLUTION: In this fixing method, a thermal insulating member 2 interposed between an exhaust pipe 3 and a thermal insulating plate 1 of a semi-circular shape in section is fixed with staples S in the state in which the thermal insulating member 2 is overlapped to the thermal insulating plate 1. In this case, a pair of concave parts 20 which are separated at a predetermined distance corresponding to a width L between a pair of leg parts Sa of each of the staples S are formed in advance, and thereafter the thermal insulating plate 1 and the thermal insulating member 2 overlaps each other. Then, the leg part Sa of each of the staple S is driven into the concave part 20 of the thermal insulating plate 1 and bent. |
