Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anisotropic rare-earth permanent magnet and an anisotropic rare-earth permanent magnetic material, having a texture such that hard magnetic phases and soft magnetic phases are scattered finely and the axes of easy magnetization of the hard magnetic phases are oriented. SOLUTION: In a method or manufacturing an anisotropic rare-earth permanent magnet material, having such as internal texture where hard magnetic phases and soft magnetic phases are scattered finely, a quenched tin belt of an alloy material having a composition that can yield hard magnetic phases, soft magnetic phases, and nonmagnetic phases having a lower melting point than the magnetic phases have when heat-treated is crystallized by heating the belt to a temperature higher than the melding point of the nonmagnetic phase or temperature at which eutectic crystals occur between the nonmagnetic phase and the other phases in a magnetic field of 3T or higher.
