Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make dischargeable air inside an image forming device at an appropriate exhausting speed regardless of attaching or not attaching of an optional part by providing a cover-side duct having a suction duct connection port connected to the downstream side from a suction duct sucking air from a specified position and an air blower connection port connected to the upstream side from an air blower. SOLUTION: The suction duct connection port 3b is connected to the downstream side from the suction duct in the case of attachment to an image forming device main body. The suction duct sucks the air from the specified position. The air sucked by the suction duct flows into the cover-side duct 3 from the port 3b. The port 3c is connected to the upstream side from the air blower in the case of attachment to the image forming device main body and sucks the air in the duct 3. Therefore, parts can be attached to the outer surface of a cover D1 with a duct in the duct 3. Therefore, the inside air is appropriately exhausted regardless of attaching or not attaching of the optional part.
