PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance assembling properties and disposal properties when reinforcing pillars are formed to corner parts by providing the pillar forming parts inserted in a box main body along the inner periphery thereof and forming reinforcing pillars along with side panels at the cornr parts of a box main body and providing a reinforcing plate equipped with the splicing part connecting the adjacent pillar forming parts. SOLUTION: A packaging box 1 is an assembly of a box main body 10 and reinforcing plates 20. The box main body 10 comprises pasteboard such as a corrugated cardboard sheet and is formed by bending the pasteboard so that side panels 12 are erected from the periphery of a bottom panel 11 and an opening part 13 is provided at an upper part. Each of the reinforcing plates 20 is also formed by bending pasteboard such as a corrugated cardboard sheet into an M-shape having two pillar forming parts 21 and the splicing part 22 connecting them and inserted in the box main body 10 along the inner periphery thereof. The pillar forming parts 21 have the V-shaped outer sides 21A adapted to the side panels 12 of the corner parts of the box main body 10 and form the reinforcing pillars 20 along with two side panels 12. Therefore, if the reinforcing plates 20 are inserted in the box main body 10 along the opposed inner surfaces thereof, the packaging box can be immediately assembled and can house a standing pouch.
