Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-back machining device for clad steel plate capable of performing cut-back machining safely at a low equipment cost without requiring a skillful operator. SOLUTION: A cut-back maching device 10 is to remove clad material from a clad steel plate made of a flat plate or curved plate for a specified distance from the end face E on the side where the clad steel plate is welded. The configuration includes a locating roller 32 to abut to the end face E and a driving roller 53 and follower rollers 81 and 82 to pinch the clad steel plate W from the sides, among which at least the driving roller 53 has a feeding mechanism 40 installed in slight inclination at a rising angle θ relative to the end face, a machining cutter 90 to cut the cut-back part of the clad material with the cutting edges provided on its periphery, a motor for cutting 91 to rotate the machining cutter 90, and a frame 20 to support them. |
