Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softened filament nonwoven cloth having soft feeling suitable as a surface material of sanitary material such as paper diaper and sanitary napkin, an outer material, a disposable wear, etc., without deteriorating surface strength and tensile strength. SOLUTION: The continuous fiber constituting the objective filament nonwoven cloth produced by spun-bond process is made of a polypropylene resin and has a primary peak and a secondary peak by differential scanning calorimetry wherein the melt calorie of the secondary peak is smaller than that of the primary peak, the primary peak is present within the range of 150-165 deg.C and the secondary peak temperature is higher than the primary peak temperature by 3-10 deg.C. The filament nonwoven cloth is preferably heat-treated at 110-140 deg.C for 0.5-5 sec.
