Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air-conditioning system in which both an indoor unit for convenient air conditioning and an indoor unit requiring custom specifications for connection and control of additional apparatus can be connected with same outdoor unit by connecting the outdoor unit with any one of a refrigerant circuit having a heat exchanger on the utilizing side or an indoor unit mounted with a microcomputer or provided with a non-mounting controller. SOLUTION: When one outdoor unit is connected with two indoor units, an indoor unit mounting a microcomputer and an indoor unit having a relay sequence circuit not mounting a microcomputer may be connected with another outdoor unit 1 through wiring (a) or they can be connected simultaneously. They can be connected similarly regardless of whether a controller 4a on the indoor unit 3 side is mounting or not mounting a microcomputer 4b for the outdoor unit 1. Even if a heat exchanger or a pressure reducing unit on the utilizing side have different capacity or other arrangement is loaded, function and performance as a refrigerant circuit are satisfied even when the mounted controller has a difference so long as the arrangement of an indoor side refrigerant circuit is substantially identical or equivalent.
