Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of work and improve work efficiency by solidifying the ground exposed when excavated and made muddy with the water comming out through addition of water absorption polymer material. SOLUTION: A work bit 3 is excavationwise formed for reparing work to stop gas leakage from a connection portion of city gas piping 1 burried underground. When the ground for working 4 is made muddy with the water 5 comming out, muddy earth neutralization solidifying agent G of power type containing water absorption polymer material is added thereto to solidify the whole surface thereof. Accordingly, without using mechanical means in which a failure of a pump is liable to occur, the comming out water can be chemically absorbed with the polymer material for solidifying the ground, thereby easily improving efficiency of work while ensuring the safety of work at the ground for working.
