Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening the subject substance such as a medicine for treating a cancer by examining the expression of a reporter gene by a cell strain to which a specific vector containing TCP-1-containing chaperonin gene is transferred in the presence of a compound to be examined. SOLUTION: A vector in which a reporter gene such as luciferase gene is connected to the downstream of a promoter of TCR-1-containing chaperonin (CCT) gene such as a gene of CCTα subunit is transferred to a cell strain such as HeLa cell, to transform the cell strain. The expression of a reporter gene product is examined by using the transformed cell strain in the presence of a compound to be examined to screen an expression control substance of TCP-1- containing chaperonin (CCT). An expression inhibitor of CCT selectable by the screening is useful as a medicinal composition for treating a cancer. |
