Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and continuously drive at high light emitting luminance for a long time by including one or more compounds having tribenz [b, d, f] azepine structure in one or more organic compound layers between a hole injection positive electrode and an electron injection negative electrode on a substrate. SOLUTION: Organic compounds of formulas I-V are used for a hole transfer layer, etc., to prolong the drive lift. [In formulas I-V, A1, B1, C1 to A9, B9, C9 are each ethylene, vinylene, or o-arylene group. Ar1 to Ar5, and Ar10 to Ar12 are each a group derived from aromatic hydrocarbon ring or heterocycle. Ar6 to Ar8 are each same as Ar1, when Y is nitrogen, and benzene ring, when they are 1,3,5-benzenetoluyl ring. Ar9 is a group derived from aromatic hydrocarbon ring, aromatic aggregate including aromatic hydrocarbon ring except for benzene or aromatic heterocycle, and polyaryl methane. Z is monovalent to tetravalent group derived from an aromatic ring or ring aggregate, triarylamine, or polyaryl ethane. a to c, h, i, k, m, n=1 to 4, d=0 to 2, j and l are integers each >=1].
