Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple motor-driven stapler capable of appropriately driving staples in a manner which flexibly matches variations in thickness of the subject of stapling, with a required minimum amount of electric power. SOLUTION: This stapler includes a hook part 81 which is hooked to the top of a striking arm 2 and a hanging member 8 having a support part 80 in the lower part of a storage frame 3. A main body 1 is provided with a pressure member which is moved vertically by a motor 5. A support frame 22 in which the pressure member is movably contained is provided on the top of the striking arm 2. The striking arm 2 and the storage frame 3 move their respective front ends F downward by means of their own weight as the pressure member moves downward, so as to press the lower face 32 of the front end of the storage frame 3 against the upper surface of the subject of stapling W. The dimension of the hanging member 8 between the hook part 81 and the support part 80 permits the front end F of the striking arm 2 to move downward as the pressure member moves to the lowermost position, so that a staple P is forced out of a striking opening 30 by a pushing blade 20. |
