Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicon-based foam stabilizer for polyurethane foam, not staining a circumferential member in which a polyurethane foam is arranged. SOLUTION: This silicone-based foam stabilizer for polyurethane foam has <=5,000 ppm (weight) content of low-molecular weight siloxane containing <=10 silicon atoms. The foam stabilizer is produced, for example, by reacting dimethylsiloxane/methylhydrogensiloxane with a polyoxyalkylene under heating. |
